The governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Wamakko has reacted to the claims by
President Goodluck Jonathan that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was
not missing the five governors of the party who defected from his party
to the leading opposition party in the country, the All Progressives
Congress (APC).
Addressing members of PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) last week, President Jonathan claimed that the party had not missed the 5 governors who dumped PDP after series of meetings with him in Abuja.
But speaking on Tuesday night in Abuja, Governor Wamakko said President Jonathan was being economical in so many ways with the truth. He revealed that the President had made spirited efforts to get them back to the party since their exit but that they have shunned all his entreaties.

So, between Mr President and Mr Governor, who is lying and who is telling the truth?
