Exclusive: Demba Ba blast clueless Mourinho

dembaaa

Chelsea’s former striker Demba Ba has launched a scathing attack to his former boss, suggesting the Portuguese is more concerned about reputation than statistics.

Ba left the club this summer to join Turkish side Besiktas, but angrily feels Mourinho never gave him a chance to prove himself, and kept him second-fiddle to the likes of Fernando Torres.
Speaking to Daily Mail, ‘’Sometimes when you are at a club with a lot of big stars, the name counts for more than the statistics. Unfortunately, it was like that in my case.
‘’But I am happy I moved from Newcastle to Chelsea and achieved what I did. I have lots of friends there.
‘’Eden Hazard is one of my best friends. I am close to Branislav Ivanovic too. All my wishes are for them to win the league’’
The Senegalese was highly influential for the blues during his short stint, coming off the bench to score crucial goals, a highlight of them was at Anfield last season where he evaded past Steven Gerrad to fire the visitors ahead.

Liverpool is considering move for Eto'o

Samuel Eto'o has emerged as a potential transfer target for Liverpool as they seek to replace Luis Suárez.
Liverpool are considering a move for the veteran Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o as they look to increase Brendan Rodgers' forward options before the transfer deadline.
The 33-year-old is a free agent having been released by Chelsea at the end of last season and has held talks with Ajax over a move to Amsterdam. Liverpool have not made an offer to the former Real Madrid, Barcelona and Internazionale goalscorer as yet, and are discussing several names, but Eto'o has emerged as a possible target.
The striker is believed to have earned £7m from his one-year deal at Stamford Bridge, an annual drop of £13m from his contract with Anzhi Makhachkala, but his wage demands are unlikely to deter Liverpool given the player's availability on a free transfer.
Rodgers remains determined to add a striker to his squad before 1 September having sold Luis Suárez to Barcelona for £75m and seen a proposed £8m move for Loïc Rémy of Queens Park Rangers collapse on medical grounds.

Posted by: daganah  on August 12, 2014
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State yesterday dismissed the reported endorsement of the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, for the state governor’s seat in 2015 by maverick politician, Senator Arthur Nzeribe, as a sign of failure.
According to him, Nzeribe has never supported a credible candidate for elective position.
The governor, who was reacting to some media reports of the endorsement of Ihedioha by the Oguta-born politician, said he did not wish to be endorsed by him as it would be a sign of failure.

Osun Election: EU Urges Aregbesola To Seek Legal Redress On Security Clampdown

PRESS RELEASE
The European Union Election Monitoring on Sunday tasked the Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, to use all legal instruments available to challenge the alleged arbitrariness by the security agencies drafted to the state by the Federal Government.

The EU Election Monitoring Group Coordinator, Paul Edwards, gave this advice when his team paid a courtesy visit to the Governor at his residence after the announcement of the election results.
In his congratulatory remark to Mr. Aregbesola, Mr. Edwards said the most dependable way to deepen democracy in Nigerian is by strict adherence to the rule of law.

Mr. Aregbesola had complained about the recklessness and arbitrary use of force, arrest without charges and total clampdown on party chieftains by the security agencies to the EU.
The EU envoy observed that the most acceptable and preferred way to challenge arbitrariness of opposition is to seek legal remedy.

“We are here to congratulate Your Excellency on your victory in the Saturday governorship election. Besides, our mission here is to also find out from you about the conduct of the election.
“We have observed the election all over the state and have our reports.
“In any election like this, there are bounds to be issues. But it is our opinion that whatever the complaint you have, you should choose the legal option to seek remedy.

“Let us rely on the instrumentality of law to purse whatever anomaly or violation of rights we have suffered.
“Let us always use the legal method to stop the impunity used by one unit of government against the other.
“It is through this option that we can deepen democratic institutions wherever it is practised in the world.
“If you send your complaints to the EU, we shall take note of it and act accordingly within the framework of law”, the EU coordinator said.

In his remark, Mr. Aregbesola commended the EU Monitoring Group for the organisation’s interest and commitment to development of democracy in Nigeria.
He, however, lamented the show of brute force by the forces of occupation drafted to the state by the Federal Government.
The Governor observed that voting is a minute aspect of a democracy but as tiny as it is, it should not be backed by force so that people can freely choose the candidate of their choice.
He also condemned the commando-like manners the hooded security men operated on the streets in the state and the gale of arrests of members, chieftains and supporters of All Progressive Congress (APC).
He said: “Our victory did not come because the federal authority designed it so but because we were favoured by the people as the best party that can serve them better.

“Or how do you rationalise the presence of strangers (security personnel), people I cannot control, who took over the administration of security of my state with impunity, which adversely affected life in the state?
“It is humiliating, worse sort of what a unit of government like ours should suffer. There was a deliberate attempt at muzzling the people’s voice through votes.

“By now we should know that voting is just a routine aspect of democracy and even at that, the people must not be denied their freedom to choose their leader freely.
“We must prevent the Federal Government from the recurring culture of arbitrarily invading the territory of a unit within the federal structure. This is an abuse of power”, Mr. Aregbesola said.

Young Widows Open Up On Their Life and Séx

Her husband is dead. She is jobless. She is saddled with five hungry mouths to feed. The burden of the next house rent lies solely on her head, no companion, no friend. She is being scorned by not a few but also pitied by many others. This is the life of a typical Nigerian widow.

You see her; the picture she paints is of a helpless woman who is more worried about financial incapability. Ask 10 widows and nine out of them would tell you their major problem is money. But no, that is not the major predicament, it goes beyond that.

Above all the challenges and concerns, a widow is first of all, a woman who has needs - séxual needs. How does she cope when that urge, that craving and that feeling of wanting to have a man satisfy her séxual needs, comes up? How does she quench her séxual desire?

As you watch her cry at the graveside of the husband, wanting to fall into the grave with the casket, it is not only because she has lost a helpmate. She cries most importantly because she has lost a friend, a companion and of course, a lover - a séx mate
