SECURITY CHALLENGE AS NATIONAL ASSEMBLY RESUMES

In a bid to forestall any breakdown of law and order, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in-charge of the National Assembly took over the security at the entrance of the complex.

This was to monitor movement of visitors into National Assembly as both the two chambers resumed plenary after about five weeks break occasioned by the leadership crisis that had threatened the peace and disrupted legislative business.

Vanguard also gathered that the National Security Adviser, NSA, drove into the complex around 10:05 am alongside the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and the Deputy Speaker, Yussuf Lasun.

The DPO was standing in the rain with some other police officers and security agents that screened visitors going into the assembly complex.
There was the fear that as the House was yet to fully resolve the leadership problem on the sharing formula of the four remaining principal officers position for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, some strange faces may likely invade the complex.
As at 11am the House was yet to resume sitting but the environs was calm.

Messy: Tonbra Alamieyeseigha wife caught red handed in hotel

There was peace in many homes until ladies of these days got the liberty to think that they are equal with their husbands. Even in the Bible we are reading, I can't think of any prominent man recorded in that book who did not have more than one woman, but women of today think they can change everything overnight and, sadly, some men are playing along with them, making matters worse.

MASSOB Introduces, Passport, Currency, Vehicle & Drivers Licences

Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has urged the international community to rezone the country to enable each zone go back and conduct their own elections in the interest of peace.

Assistant National Information Director, Mr Sunny Okereafor, made this call while speaking to Daily Sun in Umuahia.

He said MASSOB has introduced vehicle plate number, bearing United States of Biafra, drivers and vehicle licences, tax receipt, international passport and currency at the World Bank, which are things that make a people a nation, there is the need for Biafrans to stay on their own.

On polls shift, he said: “We are calling on the international community to split Nigeria into six geo-political regions so that every region will go and conduct elections because we want peaceful co-existence. We are a non-violent organization and we are introducing non-violence in all the struggles for self-actualization in the whole of Africa”.

He urged all Igbo to go acquire all the things he has mentioned, get them and start using them because Biafra has come to stay.

“If you remember when President Goodluck Jonathan was making his broadcast in January, he said that a new nation has been born, the nation he was referring to is Biafra. Biafra is around, this is our identity, I am urging all Igbo to go and look for it. It is available in the whole Biafra region”, Okereafor said.

He extolled the virtues of their leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, whom he said introduced non-violence in the struggle for self-actualization, stating that non-violence is their fruit .

“That is why we are preaching non-violence where ever we go, we are a non-violent organization. We have everything to move as a nation. So, all the ethnic groups should go and conduct elections for themselves,” the Information boss said.

“I Got A Slap For Exposing Theft” –Sanusi, Emir Of Kano

The emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II, has said that he was once slapped for exposing stealing when he discovered that a matron at his school, Saint Ann Primary School, has been stealing from his school box and confronted her which earned him a slap from the angry matron. Emir Sanusi stated this yesterday in Kano during an interview. He recalled his past experiences most especially at his alma mata, Saint Ann School, and disclosed that he was about seven or eight years old when he and his colleagues discovered that their biscuits and other provisions repeatedly kept on missing. He added that he and his colleagues came to the conclusion that the matron who had access to their belongings must be stealing from them. Sanusi said that he had one day discovered that his box was emptied by unknown person and pledged to confront the school matron. Emir Sanusi recalled that he led the first demonstration at the age of seven at Saint Ann, School, Kaduna, Kaduna State. According to him, the school was initially a girls only school until it incorporated boys. The school authority permitted the boys students to use the school dormitory to keep their belongings and a matron was appointed to supervise and took care of the boys’ boxes. Emir Sanusi described himself as the person who always talks about missing items. He said that it has been difficult for him or any other person to express the enormity of what Allah has done for him. It would be recalled that since he became emir of Kano, Sanusi had made it clear that the position comes from God. According to him, it is not because one is clever or connected, that he is favoured with appointment but at the prerogative of the Creator to give to whoever He so wishes. On the question of his knowledge of the Bible, Sanusi II responded that he was the best in Bible Knowledge and had scored a distinction in Bible Knowledge in his common entrance examination. He added for a person like him who attended Islamiyya School ,the development made it easier for him to use his knowledge about previous prophets and the history of their time, saying it was similar happenings he discovered in the Bible, particularly the old testament.

Five Countries To Send 8,700 Troops To Help Jonathan's Govt. Fight Boko Haram

In a bid to stem the attacks in North-eastern Nigeria and neighbouring countries, Nigeria, Chad, Niger, Cameroun and Benin Republic at the weekend pledged to deploy 8,700 troops, police and civilians as part of a regional effort to fight Boko Haram terrorists. “The representatives of Benin, Cameroun, Niger, Nigeria and Chad have announced contributions totalling 8,700 military personnel, police and civilians,” the countries said in a statement after a meeting in Cameroun's capital, Yaounde. The announcement came out of a three-day summit focused on organising the force that will battle the Islamist militants, who are engaged in a worsening six-year insurgency centred in Northeastern Nigeria. However, it may be some time before the multinational effort goes into action, as nations will continue in coming days to thrash out the details of each government's contribution as well as the budget. Country representatives at the summit agreed to launch a mission to “foster a safe and secure environment in the impacted regions" and tackle an insurgency that has killed at least 13,000 people and pushed more than a million from their homes since 2009, reported the AFP. African Union leaders will submit the plan for the force crafted by Western and African experts to the UN Security Council for approval. Boko Haram attacks have increasingly spilled over from Nigeria into neighbouring nations. Their first major assault in Niger on Friday triggered a forcible response from Chadian and Nigerien troops. Niger's defence minister reported that 109 of the Islamists were killed in the fighting, along with four soldiers and a civilian. Seventeen other troops were wounded. The United States said it condemned the attack in the “strongest possible terms” and pledged support for regional forces. “This unchecked killing must stop,” State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said. “We continue to provide support to governments in the region, including through intelligence sharing, and are increasing our support for these efforts.” US intelligence officials said Friday that while Boko Haram is flush with cash and weapons after a string of battlefield advances, the terrorists could face a tougher fight with Nigeria’s neighbours. The military intervention of neighbouring powers could potentially be a “game changer in a positive way,” one intelligence official said. Meanwhile, Nobel peace laureate Malala Yousafzai at the weekend called for global support to help release more than 200 Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram, as they marked 300 days as hostages. “As we mark this tragic 300th day of captivity for hundreds of kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls, I call on people everywhere to join me in demanding urgent action to free these heroic girls,” she said.

What Jonathan told Sanusi, the Emir of Kano

Since the flag off the presidential Campaign by President Goodluck Jonathan in Lagos, the campaign train has been to different parts of the country to sell the Jonathan candidacy. After covering the South Eastern part of the country which is seen as the president’s stronghold, the campaign train moved to Sokoto which is seen as the religious capital of the Islamic faith in the country. Flagging off the north western campaign was significant in several ways. Apart from being the home of the Sultan of Sokoto, the leader of the Muslim faithful in the country, Sokoto is one of the states PDP cannot count on for the President’s re-election. SOKOTO President-Jonathan-campaignAt the palace of the sultan of Sokoto where the president made the first point of call, the president used the opportunity to assure the people of the state and the north in general that the assumption that he hates the north was fallacious and should be ignored in totality. According to the president, the fact that his administration decided to confront the challenge of the Almajaris by establishing the schools underscores the importance and interest he has for the people. He told the audience at the campaign rally that if voted into office again in February, the good things that his administration is doing for the country would not only be sustained but improved upon. But the visit of the President to the Sultan of Sokoto provided an opportunity for the foremost religious leader to tell the president, nay politicians some home truth. According to the Sultan, rather than place emphasis on religious sentiment in the course of their campaigns, politicians should leave religion aside and concentrate on how they intend to improve the welfare of the people of the country. “ I will say never in the history of this country have we faced the kind of very serious challenges as we are facing now. The whole politicking had been turned into religion of ethnic matters and this should not be so because we see what happens across the world. “We are worried because religion has been brought into it. We made it very clear in 2011, there was no way religion would be a part in the election campaigns or even the election itself. “As you have seen here, I think there are more Muslims in this room than Christians and coming here now for prayers for success of your campaigns goes a long way to show that as the leader of the Muslims, I have no choice but to pray for you” he told the president. KEBBI From Sokoto, the president moved to neighboring Kebbi where he emphasised the message that had been carried along through out his campaign so far: that his administration remains the best for the country. Appealing to the sentiment of the people, President Jonathan told the people that his choice of Professor Attahiru Jega to head the Independent National Electoral Commission underlines his confidence in Jega and indeed the state as a whole. “We appreciate the people of Kebbi State so much. We have confidence in you and that is why we are talking about elections. “We selected a son of Kebbi State, Prof. Jega, to be the number one umpire in this country. It is because of the confidence we have in him to be an unbiased umpire”. Although the president’s campaign rallies in Sokoto and Kebbi recorded a fair but not large crowd, what happened in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital was a pleasant surprise to the presidential team. Apart from the Mammoth crowd that welcomed the presidential team, the passion with which they expressed their acceptance of the candidacy of the president put a lie to the widely held view that the president would be thoroughly defeated in the election. KANO The campaign rally of the president in Kano provided an interesting scenario. It would be recalled that shortly before he was crowned as the Emir of Kano following the death of Alhaji Ado Bayero, the relationship between Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the erstwhile governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and President Goodluck Jonathan had irretrievably broken down. Sanusi had accused the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation of failing to remit some money that had accrued to nation from the sale of Petroleum products, into the federation account. The allegation which attracted wide publicity within and out side the country was interpreted by some persons as a veiled attack on the president. The climax of the cold war was when the president failed to congratulate Sanusi as the Emir of Kano following his emergence. For many people, the forgoing background would present a difficult scenario to the president who had made it a point of duty to visit prominent traditional rulers in all places that he had gone for campaign. But to underscore the relevance of interests in the affairs of politicians, President Jonathan put aside the ugly incidence of the recent past and paid the traditional homage to Emir Sanusi in his palace. In an ironic twist of fate, while the Emir of Kano was at the mercy of the president just some few months ago, the president was in Kano, at the palace of the emir as a favour seeker! He told the emir: : “I am here to seek your royal blessing and to reassure the people of Kano that PDP is totally committed to developing the country”. As if taking a cue from the ugly incidence that happened in Katsina, the president’s campaign rally in Bauchi received a less than warm welcome as security agents had a running battle with some urchins who pelted the president’s motorcade with pebbles on Thursday. The stoning of members of the VIP at the podium in Bauchi was the climax a foreboding development that needs to be nipped in the bud as quickly and swiftly as possible. It is not enough to mouth that we want a free, fair violence-free elections. We must consciously work to ensure that this is achieved. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/jonathan-told-sanusi-emir-kano-%e2%80%a2as-sultan-urges-politicians-preach-welfare-not-religion/#sthash.fdWCV1Ax.dpuf

Major key to female sexual pleasure

The truth still remains that wholesome sexual intercourse is a normal and healthy activity between couples, which they engage in for utmost satisfaction. And during the act, lot of incredible things happen in human body. One of the major things that make it interesting is the act of orgasm in which the heart pumps faster while the individual involved breathes heavily to fuel the muscles.
 Funmi Akingbade
Then, hormones such as endorphins and oxytocin send instant messages about this sexual activity to the brain and other sensitive parts of the body, and in a jiffy, blood is pumped into the genital regions to create high voltage tension that ultimately triggers a reflex (that is, a muscular spasm of the genitals). The immediate reflex results in the pelvic-floor muscles contracting between five and 15 times at 0.8-second intervals. This in one word is the wonder of orgasm which has been defined as an explosive discharge of neuromuscular tension experienced by the two sexual lovers!

In as much as s*x has no definite time or venue before it can be enjoyed, findings have shown that men want it regularly in the morning, while women crave for it at night.

The question then is, why is it that men want s*x and are good to go for it first thing in the morning while the women often want to get in the mood late in the evening?
