Obviously, the action is not unconnected with the wind of divorce currently blowing in the family. Before she took him to court, the picture of Pastor Chris and Anita were on the homepage of the church website but following the shocking revelation, the wife has been removed from the site. Ken Oyakhilome, younger brother of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has also been accused of “fornication” and “adultery“. After reports emerged in the media that Pastor Chris’ wife, Rev. Anita, had filed for divorce in the UK, citing ‘adultery’ and ‘unreasonable behaviour’, many members of their church and other Nigerians have expressed shock and disbelief as they were in the dark on the marital crises facing the couple.

Boko Haram Invades Bama, Meets Resistance From Nigerian Troops

Boko Haram militants have invaded Bama, the second largest city in Borno state with the aim of taking over the town, but residents told
Several civilians including the Emir of Bama have already fled to the state capital Maiduguri to avoid being caught in the crossfire. Eyewitnesses said that the sect arrived the vicinity of Bama early today and began firing mortars, RPGs and hurling grenades into the city.

The battle was still raging as at the time of publishing this report. Bama is a strategic city with over 500,000 inhabitants. If the sect captures Bama with all the military hardware in the city, then it just days away from capturing Maiduguri which less than 40 miles from Bama.
