Jonathan Appoints Bode George’s Wife As NDLEA DG

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Mrs. Roli Bode-George as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Her appointment was announced on Thursday in a statement signed by presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati.
According to the statement, Mrs. Bode-George takes over from Mr. Olufemi Ajayi, who is now the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
The appointment is with immediate effect.
The new NDLEA DG is the wife of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain, Chief Bode-George.
Until her appointment, Mrs. Bode-George, who had her higher education at the University of Benin and later University of Liverpool, was a Federal Commissioner at the National Population Commission.
